Student Assistants Maritime Studies

We at Erasmus UPT are looking for 2 Student assistants to assist in the (online) exchange programme of 84 Singaporese Maritime Studies bachelor students from Nanyang Technological University.

 

Job overview

The job entails being present at the Woudestein Campus to assist speakers in the set-up of their zoom classes, keep the Canvas up-to-date, processing class recordings, grading exams, taking attendance and answer any questions coming in through email/chat. You will report contact with Reinette Sluijk, the Programme Manager of the exchange programme and Dr. Wouter Jacobs the Academic Director of the programme. The classes you will be supervising are Ship Management, Ship Ownership, International Maritime Law, Marine Insurance, Seminar on Disruptive Scenarios and The Maritime Business Game.

 

Availability

The programme will start on August 30th2021 and end at the end of January 2022. We expect each student assistant to be available 2 days a week from 09:00 – 13:00 on weekdays. Together with the other student assistant you will divide up who will be responsible for which days of classes. All classes are held between 09:00 and 13:00 from Monday to Friday with a couple of days with no classes. Other than the supervising of classes the activities can be completed on a flexible basis.
