THE POSITION

As a Pricing Analyst you are part of the Pricing and Sales Support department, within our raw materials department in Commodities North West Europe. You have a specific focus on activities related to data collection and consolidation, support in contracts and tenders, as well as cost calculations. You have a diverse range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Collecting and consolidating data from different sources

  • Enhancing existing cost models

  • Supporting price and profit calculations for offers and tenders;

  • Liaising with pricing strategies in collaboration with the right stakeholders;

  • Provide support to the Sales and Business Development team in making high-quality offers;

  • Implementation of pricing strategy and pricing models;

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Having a data orientated mindset is key to succeed in this role as having a team work attitude. We also ask for the following:

  • Being in the Intern period of a study in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering or Business Management

  • Affinity with the oil & petrochemical industry is an advantage;

  • Having analytical and strong numerical insight;

  • Having knowledge of calculation programs such as Microsoft Excel;

  • Affinity with optimizing processes;

  • Speaking fluent English language both spoken and in writing.

  • Being in possession of a driving license B;

  • You are able to work in our office in Pernis, NL, but with option to travel to the UK, Germany and Belgium.
